Terms of Purchase
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms cover the Squarecaster Arcade Pass, a one-time purchase that unlocks the full Squarecaster arcade. Playing the free games needs no purchase and no account.
- The Arcade Pass is coming soon. The games are in preview and open to everyone soon.
- One payment of US$9.99. No subscription, no renewal, no ads.
- Refunds within 14 days, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy.
Who sells Squarecaster
Squarecaster is made and run by IMDMP, LLC, a limited liability company in the United States (“we”, “us”). Questions go to support@squarecaster.com.
Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe’s payment service, which is the reseller and merchant of record for each order: checkout says “Sold through Link”, your card statement shows LINK.COM*, and Link sends your receipt, collects any sales tax or VAT and handles payment support. Link’s own terms apply to the payment itself. These terms cover the game access you receive.
What you buy
The Arcade Pass costs US$9.99 once. It unlocks the paid parts of three games for your Squarecaster account:
- Clockwork Lockdown: every workshop sector after the first, and the modes that build on them.
- Relic Runner: every chamber after the third, and its daily chamber.
- Dropstrike: every wave after the first, timed Survival and its daily run.
These stay free without a purchase: Garden Raid, Square Sprint and the Daily Sprint, plus each paid game’s no-clock Learn mode and its very easy first level (in Relic Runner, Explore and chambers 1–3).
The price is in US dollars. Checkout shows the final amount, including any tax for your location, before you pay. Your bank may add its own currency conversion fee. The purchase gives no advantage over other players, and there is nothing else to buy inside the games.
Squarecaster is a set of practice games for chess coordinates and piece movement. It does not promise a rating gain or any particular result.
Your account
You need a Squarecaster account only to buy. The account is what owns the unlock, so you can sign in on another browser or device and restore it. Sign-in is provided by Clerk.
Your game progress is different: records, stars and campaign progress are saved in each browser and are not synced between devices. Clearing your browser’s site data removes that progress, but not your unlock.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. The unlock is for your personal use. Please don’t share, sell or transfer your account, or try to get paid content without buying it.
What “access” means
- No expiry. The unlock has no time limit and no repeat charge. It lasts for as long as we run Squarecaster.
- If Squarecaster closes, we will post a notice on this site before the games go offline.
- Updates. We may fix, rebalance, add to or rework levels and games. We won’t charge you again for content your purchase already covers.
- No offline or hosting guarantee. Squarecaster runs in your web browser from our hosting provider. We aim to keep it available, but we can’t promise it will always be online, work offline, or support every browser and device.
Refunds
You can get a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. A refund removes the unlock from your account. If you dispute the payment with your bank, the unlock is paused while the dispute is open and removed if the payment is reversed. Full details are in the Refund Policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. Changes apply to purchases made after that date and don’t reduce what an earlier purchase includes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
